Job Description The CEO will work closely with the Board of Directors, senior leadership team, and hospital staff to ensure alignment with the hospital's mission, vision, and values. The role requires a dynamic and visionary leader to drive growth, innovation, and patient-centered care while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and ensuring financial sustainability. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Strategy: Lead the hospital in the development and execution of its strategic objectives and goals. Foster a culture of excellence, patient safety, and high-quality care. Ensure alignment of hospital goals with overall organizational vision and mission. Lead and develop senior leadership teams, ensuring accountability, performance, and professional growth. Financial Management: Oversee the hospital's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring profitability. Monitor financial reports and take corrective actions when necessary to ensure fiscal responsibility. Identify and implement cost-containment strategies without compromising care quality. Operational Excellence: Ensure the efficient and effective operation of all hospital departments. Monitor and improve hospital operations, clinical services, and administrative functions. Evaluate and implement technological advancements to improve patient care and hospital performance. Patient Care & Quality: Ensure the hospital provides high-quality, compassionate, and patient-centered care. Develop and implement initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes. Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and accreditation standards. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, healthcare providers, patients, regulatory agencies, and the community. Represent the hospital in the public domain, establishing and maintaining a strong reputation. Engage with the Board of Directors to report on hospital performance and strategic direction. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure hospital operations adhere to all relevant legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements. Develop and enforce policies and procedures that minimize risk and ensure patient and staff safety. Oversee risk management and ensure the hospital is prepared for audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews. Innovation & Growth: Identify opportunities for innovation and growth, including new services, partnerships, or expansion initiatives. Foster a culture of continuous improvement in all hospital functions. Stay informed of trends in healthcare and implement best practices to improve patient care and hospital operations. The Successful Applicant Qualifications: Education: A Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Experience: Minimum of 15-20 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, including at least 5 years in an executive role (e.g., CEO, COO). Proven experience managing hospital operations, finances, and strategic planning. Strong background in healthcare regulations, compliance, and patient care standards. Skills & Competencies: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. In-depth knowledge of healthcare management, financial oversight, and operational best practices. Ability to foster an inclusive and collaborative work culture.
