Job Summary:
The Finance Staff performs essential finance-related tasks, including processing transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and preparing reports. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is proficient in Microsoft Excel and can work efficiently under pressure. The Finance Staff will ensure all financial processes comply with company policies and procedures while supporting the overall operations of the Finance and Accounting Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial transactions.
- Ensure all financial documents are properly filed and stored.
- Process payments, invoices, and other financial transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Monitor and verify daily financial transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare financial reports, summaries, and analyses for management review.
- Generate and update spreadsheets for financial monitoring and forecasting.
- Assist in preparing budgets and financial plans.
- Monitor expenditures and ensure they align with the approved budget.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and government regulations in all financial processes.
- Coordinate with other departments to address finance-related concerns and provide support when needed.
- Suggest improvements to financial processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement new tools or procedures as directed by management.
- Assist the Finance Manager with administrative tasks and special projects as required.
- Handle other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
