CloudMarc is seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join one of our Tier 1 Australian clients. This is a fully remote role based in the Philippines, requiring alignment with Australian business hours to collaborate seamlessly with onshore teams. We partner with some of Australia’s largest enterprises across sectors such as retail, banking, logistics, and government. Our mission is to deliver world-class engineering, testing, and digital transformation services while building high-performing offshore teams in the Philippines and India. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure Java-based applications. Collaborate closely with Australian-based developers, testers, and business analysts. Participate in Agile ceremonies, ensuring smooth delivery across distributed teams. Conduct code reviews, implement best practices, and maintain coding standards. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise performance of applications. Integrate applications with APIs, cloud services, and enterprise platforms. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years’ Java development experience in enterprise environments. Strong expertise in Spring / Spring Boot frameworks. Solid knowledge of REST APIs, Microservices, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with onshore teams. Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models. Good to Have Frontend experience with React, Angular, or Vue. Knowledge of containerisation tools (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD) or automation testing. Why Join CloudMarc?
