Supply Chain Manager

Location: Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Supply Chain Strategies and Continuous Improvements:
  • Develop and regularly review supply chain strategies based on target market to sales requirements, ensuring alignment across marketing, operations, sales, finance, and procurement.
  • Reinforce company policies and support service levels based on customer requirements and market strategies.
  • Drive process and technology optimization initiatives, incorporating risk management tools.
  • Support data integrity and maintenance for supply chain processes.
  • Benchmark and implement supply chain best practices to ensure successful project execution.
Performance Management:
  • Manage inventories and monitor supply chain performance using KPIs, benchmarks, and service levels.
  • Support improvements in KPIs such as forecast accuracy, on-time delivery, and cost efficiencies, collaborating with relevant teams.
  • Identify and manage cost drivers within supply chain responsibilities to enhance effectiveness.
  • Optimize inventory and logistics costs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by superiors.
People Development:
  • Build and develop a high-performing supply chain team.
  • Set measurable targets and monitor team performance.
  • Lead and guide team members to execute strategies effectively and efficiently.
Production and Supply Planning:
  • Manage purchase planning based on ERP system data, considering sales, production capacity, and inventory levels.
  • Review and approve master production schedules, coordinating with relevant departments.
  • Conduct SIOP meetings with production, demand, and procurement teams to balance stock and monitor forecast accuracy.
Inventory Management:
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels aligned with sales and finance requirements.
  • Implement actions for outliers or misaligned targets, ensuring timely product availability and minimizing aging stocks.

Your expertise - Our strength

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering or relevant field.
  • MBA and/or Six Sigma certification is a plus.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction, chemical, or adhesives industries managing production or supply planning.
  • Proven ability to work in fast-paced environments, uphold compliance, and resolve conflicts.
  • Experience leading supply or production planning teams, with training and risk management skills.
  • Knowledge of supply chain practices such as S&OP, warehouse management, logistics, import/export.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP), MS Office, with excellent communication and influencing skills.
