Senior Java Developer As a Senior Java developer, you will join one of our multinational Scrum teams to create state‑of‑the‑art software solutions. In all teams we cooperate with internal and external experts from different knowledge domains to discover and build the best solutions possible. Responsibilities Take part in the architecture definition. Perform technical analysis and suggest improvements. Develop new features and make changes to existing code. Maintain source code of the company software stack. Review requirements, estimate and participate in technical analysis to proactively develop and outline potential issues. Design and implement custom functionalities. Cover designed/implemented functionality with unit and integration tests. Lead POC work along with architecture from discovery to delivery. Required Skills At least 5 years of experience working with Java 8+, SE or EE development experience in (micro) services architectures including web service frameworks like Java Spring Boot. BS/MS degree in Software Engineering or similar field. Mastery of Hibernate for efficient data persistence. Proficiency in Java concurrency, with hands‑on experience. Experience in developing robust distributed systems. Expertise in at least one of the following technologies: AMQP, ZeroMQ, JMS, Kafka, Hazelcast. Strong command of Spring framework, JDBC, and NoSQL databases. Solid understanding and application of SQL for database operations. Knowledge of ETL processes for seamless data flow. Practical experience with REST API implementation. Proven ability to create and implement automated unit and integration tests. Familiarity with ORM principles, with handling XML, JSON, and HTML. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Advantages Knowledge of cross‑platform Web & Mobile development and libraries. Experience with dependency injection, data binding. Understanding of principles of the Clean Architecture. Knowledge of multi‑thread applications, OOP & MVC concepts and design patterns. Understanding principles of database modelling and programming like PL/SQL, pgSQL. Basic knowledge of Maven, Docker, Gradle. Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level. Employment type: Full‑time.
