YouTrip Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines

We are seeking a Lead Product Designer (PH-based) to oversee the work of our growing design teams in the Philippines.

You will
  • Envision and evolve our next generation of products, working closely with the Director of Product Design and senior stakeholders
  • Make an impact on the lives of millions by creating delightful solutions to complex design problems that influence the way we travel, transact, and send money across Asia and beyond
  • Lead end-to-end work streams: own design deliverables and oversee the work of 4-5 designers to ensure our product vision is brought to life
  • Translate product requirements and business goals into strategic, visionary, and actionable design briefs; manage resources, timelines and estimations
  • Effectively communicate design solutions and their impacts on product experience, users, and business goals across teams and stakeholders
  • Push the standards of our work, set benchmarks and own design deliverables to ensure our product vision is brought to life
  • Grow and develop fellow designers to take work from good to great, improve workflows, and establish best practices for product design
Requirements

You are:

  • A curious and strategic systems thinker and maker who looks beyond the immediate ask to design best-in-class experiences for users
  • Able to turn functional products into truly delightful ones—from generative research and interaction design to UX writing and behavioral psychology
  • Excited about wearing multiple hats: one day you might oversee design research for travel habits and redefine cross-border transfers for SMEs
  • Detail-oriented: from interactions to wording

You have

  • 7-10 years of experience in Product/Service Design with strong aesthetics and hands-on UX expertise
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in related fields with an exceptional online portfolio
  • 3+ years of experience working on live/launched mobile apps with complex features across multiple platforms/markets
  • Prior experience managing a design team is a plus
  • Shaped and optimized high-quality product experiences for mobile and web used by millions
  • Proven ability to define and lead end-to-end design of project streams
  • Experience establishing and evolving cross-platform, multi-market design systems
  • Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills and interpersonal abilities
