Paid birthday leave, birthday cake, and milestone anniversary gifts What You’ll Be Doing You’ll partner with a friendly UK-based manager and a supportive, remote-first team to design, build, and ship software that powers our SaaS ecommerce platforms and front-end apps. From day one, you’ll see your work make a difference: Create serverless services and web apps using Node.js/TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks (ideally Next.js). Connect delightful experiences via REST and GraphQL APIs; work with NoSQL datastores such as Firestore, MongoDB, and DynamoDB. Elevate quality with unit/integration tests and collaborate through PRs, code reviews, and well-structured Git workflows. Ship with confidence on Vercel and FaaS (e.g., AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions, Azure Functions) using CI/CD (e.g., Bitbucket Pipelines). Tackle meaningful challenges from performance tuning to nuanced inventory logic while championing security best practices. Grow together in Agile rituals (stand-ups, planning, scoping) and uplift teammates by pairing and mentoring junior engineers. What You’ll Bring 4–5+ years of commercial experience as a Full Stack Developer. Hands-on FaaS/serverless experience (AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions, or Azure Functions). Proficiency with at least one Node.js framework (e.g., Nest, Express, Koa, Hapi). Modern front-end experience ideally Next.js and deployments on Vercel or similar. Proven API integration across REST and GraphQL; experience with NoSQL datastores. Solid unit/integration testing, SDLC know-how, and Git mastery. Strong HTTP fundamentals and web application security practices. A clear, inclusive communicator who partners smoothly with Tech Leads and supports junior engineers.
