About The Role

We are urgently seeking an experienced accountant for part-time ongoing work involving an immediate clean-up of past financial records for a U.S.-based company, emphasizing accuracy and speed. Deep familiarity with U.S. tax regulations, QuickBooks Online, and the ability to prepare legal-ready financial reports for bankruptcy use are required.

Responsibilities
  • Reconstruct monthly Profit & Loss statements for the past 2 years
  • Reconcile all accounts for accuracy
  • Generate reports for legal counsel, including Profit & Loss Statements, 941 Payroll Tax Summary, Texas Sales Tax Liability Reports, and Balance Sheets
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. accounting standards and tax requirements
  • Work efficiently to meet strict deadlines
  • Maintain responsive communication throughout the project
Requirements
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online
  • Experience with U.S.-based companies
  • Deep understanding of U.S. tax structure, especially Texas Sales Tax and IRS Form 941
  • Proven experience in financial reconstruction and reconciliation
  • Ability to generate accurate, audit-ready reports
  • Responsive, detail-oriented, deadline-driven
  • Immediate availability upon confirmation and deposit
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA or Enrolled Agent certification (preferred)
  • Experience with legal or bankruptcy-related financial reviews
