Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer Location: Manila, Philippines – Full‑time on‑site role. This is a full‑time on‑site role located in Manila for a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer. The day‑to‑day tasks include designing, developing, and executing automated tests, creating test cases, and carrying out manual and software testing. As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will ensure the quality of software products and help drive continuous improvements in the testing processes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field and 7+ years of relevant work experience Proficiency in testing concepts/standards & Agile methodology Strong analytical skills and detail oriented. Good understanding of Automation Testing concepts. The candidate should be able to implement automation strategy. Hands‑on experience authoring, building and adopting large‑scale automation frameworks with well‑balanced coverage across UI, functional, API and back‑end integration (including end‑to‑end automation) and experience with different test automation approaches Experience in Selenium with Java / Python – Knowledge at scripting/coding level Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills Experience and knowledge of Azure DevOps or any relevant defect management tool and CI/CD. Proficiency managing/implementing Control Version XML and JSON knowledge are a plus. Implement automation strategy and guide the team. Self‑starter, with the flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, rapid change and diverse technologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Database testing Data testing management Ability to understand and integrate with cultural differences and engage with virtual cross‑cultural, cross‑border teams Experience in supporting medium to high size complexities Nice to have localization/translation testing experience as well as knowledge on performance testing concepts.
