Tax Compliance and Reporting Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (e.g., VAT, withholding tax, income tax) in compliance with BIR regulations. Maintain proper documentation of tax filings and payments for audit purposes. Assist in tax reconciliations and ensure accuracy of tax-related entries. Coordinate with external auditors or consultants during tax audits and assessments. Monitor tax deadlines and ensure timely submission of all statutory reports. Accounts Payable Management Process supplier invoices, employee reimbursements, and other payables in a timely and accurate manner. Verify the completeness and accuracy of supporting documents before payment. Prepare check vouchers, payment summaries, and ensure proper approval routing. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve payment discrepancies. Maintain an updated aging schedule for accounts payable. Financial Statements Preparation Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Record journal entries and ensure accurate posting of transactions to the general ledger. Conduct account reconciliations, including bank and intercompany accounts. Support in financial analysis and variance reporting. Assist the Senior Accountant or Finance Manager during audit and closing activities. General Accounting Support Maintain organized and updated accounting records and documentation. Support internal control implementation and compliance with company policies. Perform other related accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
