The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans for the assigned business unit in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones. This role requires a highly creative and driven individual with a proven track record in retail marketing, preferably within a similar industry. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Creates comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the store’s goals and brand identity. Analyzes market trends and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for growth. Plans, implements, and manages marketing campaigns, including seasonal campaigns, sales promotions, and product launches, to drive traffic and sales. Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of marketing campaigns through metrics and KPIs. Oversees the store’s digital marketing efforts, including social media, email marketing, online advertising, and website content. Optimizes online presence to increase engagement and drive e-commerce sales. Develops CRM strategies to enhance customer loyalty and retention. Uses customer data to personalize marketing efforts and improve customer experience. Manages the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources. Tracks and reports on marketing spend and ROI. Maintains and enhances the store’s brand image through consistent messaging and high-quality creative output. Ensures all marketing materials align with the brand’s guidelines and values. Conducts regular market research to stay informed about competitor activities and industry trends. Uses insights to inform marketing strategies and decisions. Leads and mentors the marketing team, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals. Identifies and establishes partnerships with local businesses, influencers, and media outlets to enhance brand visibility. Negotiates contracts and manages relationships with external vendors and agencies. Organizes and oversees in-store events and promotions to drive foot traffic and enhance customer engagement. Coordinates with other departments to ensure successful execution of events. Qualifications: Education : Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within the retail industry. Skills : Strong understanding of marketing principles and retail industry trends. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. Leadership and team management skills.
