Meets regularly with the project leader to discuss research assignments. Performs routine clerical duties as instructed, if essential to the research activities of the supervisor or project. Assists and monitors the acquisition of research materials. Monitors the project budget. Performs research work such as data gathering/sampling, experimentation, summarizing findings, and data analysis. Supervises any undergraduate and graduate students working on the assigned research project. Assists in administrative duties such as completing reports. Prepares other reports and presentations related to the research project. Performs other duties as assigned by the project leader related to the research project.
