Sales Support Specialist

Provides support to the sales team by relieving them of administrative work.

Prepares change orders for operations and finance.

Prepares, files, and retrieves sales-related documents, such as contracts.

Updates internal databases with account information.

Liaises with internal teams to ensure proper pre- and post-sales service.

Assists with RFP responses.

Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.

Typically reports to a manager.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Experience:

Typically requires 0 to 2 years of related experience.

Computer/Technical:

Preferred experience using and managing Salesforce entries.

Proficient in basic applications such as Excel, Microsoft Word, etc.

Demonstrates ability to learn and understand various computer systems.

Other Skills:

Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.

Problem-solving ability.

Excellent organization and follow-up skills.

Excellent relationship-building skills.

Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Normal office environment.

Extended viewing of computer screens.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Spends time at a computer workstation and desk.

Moves throughout department or other locations to access or exchange information.

May involve carrying loads up to 50 lbs. and remaining stationary.

May involve lowering oneself to file, reaching, twisting, or turning.

Involves handling office materials, typing, writing, and other manual tasks.

Ability to communicate information effectively.
