Overview

This position is responsible for providing data analysis and business support to the Executive Management, Account Management, Service Delivery and other cross functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal client teams for reporting on key trends regarding revenue spend, program volume, speaker utilization, attendance, customer satisfaction etc.

  • Conduct detail analysis of operational metrics and help measure team performance

  • Take ownership of existing Excel models (Management Fee reports) and enhance/develop new models to accommodate evolving business needs

  • Provide analytical support and strategic consulting to internal teams during crisis management, RFPs, contract negotiations and other strategic initiatives

  • Assist in developing benchmark analysis and identifying key industry trends

  • Responsible for generating routine and ad hoc reports for internal and external clients

  • Aggregation and reporting of monthly business metrics to senior management

  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

Competency Requirements

  • 2+ years experience mining data as Data Analyst

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel

  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Power BI etc) databases (SQL etc) with the ability to learn other analytic tools

  • Significant experience in consolidating data from multiple systems

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to evaluate, analyze and visualize large datasets

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings

  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical promotional activity is a plus

  • Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Other Education, Skills, Experience Desired

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics or Statistics)
