Responsibilities AP & Bookkeeping Post invoices (inventory and non-inventory), expenses, and credit card transactions Manage vendor payments and set up new vendors Maintain accurate and organized records AR Support Send follow-up emails for overdue or upcoming invoices Prepare simple A/R reports Recurring Payments & Reporting Process monthly rent, loan, and credit card payments Prepare and process commission reports and payments Month-End Tasks Reconcile bank and credit card accounts Record accruals for recurring expenses (e.g., shipping, commissions, or other monthly costs) Support other month-end close activities as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting Three (3) years or more of general accounting experience Proficiency in at least two different accounting software programs Experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Processes, and General Ledger Advanced Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented Research and analytical skills Company Overview The Business Service Group (BSG) plays a vital role in providing essential back-office support to our sister companies situated in the picturesque landscapes of Hawaii, USA.
