We are seeking an accomplished and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor with a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation to lead our finance department. The ideal candidate will oversee the day-to-day financial activities of the organization and supervise the finance team, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of financial operations and processes.

Position Responsibilities
  • Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, including financial analysts, accountants, and clerical staff.
  • Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to team members to support their professional development and growth.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports and statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information to management, shareholders, and regulatory authorities.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to set financial targets and allocations.
  • Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and provide insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Provide recommendations for improving financial performance and operational efficiency based on analysis findings.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, improve controls, and enhance reporting accuracy.
  • Implement changes and best practices to optimize efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to financial policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and software to support financial reporting and analysis.
  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to troubleshoot issues and enhance system functionality.
Candidate Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
  • 5+ years' experience in a leadership role within a finance team.
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Conditions of Employment

Physical Requirements

This job operates in a professional office environment. The employee will be largely sedentary and may be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will regularly operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects; move objects from place to place; hold onto objects; and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
