Overview

Discover your 100% YOU with MicroSourcing. This role supports FLG’s voice systems infrastructure across platforms including Microsoft Teams, 3CX, TiPT, Avaya, and Amazon Connect. The UC Engineer collaborates with the Infrastructure Lead to troubleshoot VoIP and SIP issues, maintain reliable operations, and improve the user experience. Knowledge of Meraki SD-WAN is beneficial.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Infrastructure Lead to address complex voice-related incidents and implement preventative measures.
  • Monitor system health and voice quality metrics across Windows-hosted UC platforms to ensure optimal performance.
  • Document system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and change logs for Windows environments to build a knowledge base.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to roll out updates and new features compatible with Windows systems.
  • Ensure UC systems comply with IT policies and Windows security baselines.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on UC tools running on Windows devices.
  • Contribute to capacity planning and performance tuning of UC systems within the Windows infrastructure.
  • Document the voice space and transfer knowledge to service desk members to support ongoing learning.
  • Work with IT colleagues to maintain UC system uptime and reliability.
  • Performs additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.
What You Need
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in VoIP/SIP technologies.
  • Experience in at least one of the following: CUCM, MS Teams, 3CX, Avaya Aura / IP Office, Asterisk, RingCentral, FreePBX, FusionPBX, Amazon Connect, or similar PBX.
  • Deep understanding of VoIP technologies, SIP protocols, and network infrastructure.
  • Proven experience with UC platforms such as MS Teams, 3CX, TiPT, Avaya, and Amazon Connect.
  • Experience with hybrid work environments and remote support.
  • Familiarity with Meraki SD-WAN infrastructure.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills; ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Relevant UC certifications are a plus; CCNP is highly desirable.
  • MSP experience is advantageous.
