Geotechnical Engineer

Overview Geotechnical engineering role focused on on-site investigations, data analysis, and collaboration with project teams to integrate geotechnical findings into project designs. Responsibilities Conducting thorough site investigations to assess sand supply, PVD, rock revetment, groundwater, vibro compaction and other condition works on site. Analyzing reclamation data and daily reports to ensure the work progress fulfills design requirements. Preparing detailed reclamation reports and presenting findings to management based on on-site analysis. Collaborating with the project management team, consultants, and construction teams to integrate geotechnical findings into project designs. Ensuring all reclamation activities comply with relevant safety and environmental regulations. Providing expert advice on potential risks and mitigation strategies to reclamation projects. Staying updated with the latest developments in geotechnical engineering and applying best practices to projects. Office-based work in Mall of Asia, Pasay with regular visits to project sites (Zambales/Mindoro). Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering or civil engineering; reclamation experience is advantageous. Proficiency in geotechnical engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, 3D modelling). Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to read and comment on engineering drawings and plans accurately. Knowledge of engineering construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
