Geotechnical Engineer

Overview

Geotechnical engineering role focused on on-site investigations, data analysis, and collaboration with project teams to integrate geotechnical findings into project designs.

• Conducting thorough site investigations to assess sand supply, PVD, rock revetment, groundwater, vibro compaction and other condition works on site.
• Analyzing reclamation data and daily reports to ensure the work progress fulfills design requirements.
• Preparing detailed reclamation reports and presenting findings to management based on on-site analysis.
• Collaborating with the project management team, consultants, and construction teams to integrate geotechnical findings into project designs.
• Ensuring all reclamation activities comply with relevant safety and environmental regulations.
• Providing expert advice on potential risks and mitigation strategies to reclamation projects.
• Staying updated with the latest developments in geotechnical engineering and applying best practices to projects.
• Office-based work in Mall of Asia, Pasay with regular visits to project sites (Zambales/Mindoro).

• Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering or civil engineering; reclamation experience is advantageous.
• Proficiency in geotechnical engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, 3D modelling).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to read and comment on engineering drawings and plans accurately.
• Knowledge of engineering construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
