Group Accountant

Position Overview

The Group Accountant will play a pivotal role in leading the finance management function across our group entities. This position requires a detail-oriented, proactive finance professional who can oversee daily transactions, manage intercompany finances, ensure robust reconciliation across banking and crypto channels, maintain key external relationships, and deliver timely reporting packages. The Group Accountant will collaborate closely with internal teams, banking partners, corporate secretarial providers and related vendors to ensure all financial operations are managed efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

-Client Invoicing: Generate and issue invoices for clients promptly, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

-Intergroup Invoicing: Manage and process invoicing between group entities, maintaining clear records to support consolidation and compliance.

-Bank Payment Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts to ensure payment records are accurate and up to date.

-Crypto Payment Reconciliation: Reconcile crypto payment transactions, ensuring the accuracy of ledgers across all digital asset accounts.

-Vendor Payments Processing: Oversee and execute payments to vendors, maintaining appropriate documentation and adhering to payment terms.

-Payment Approval Reminders: Proactively send reminders to relevant stakeholders to secure approvals required for timely payment processing.

-Monthly Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and present monthly profit & loss statements and balance sheets for management and group stakeholders.

-Maintain Banking Relationships: Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with the company's banking partners to facilitate smooth operations and resolve banking queries.

-Liaison with Corporate Secretarial Providers: Serve as the primary point of contact with

corporate secretarial service providers, ensuring statutory obligations and corporate governance matters are managed efficiently.

-Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency across financial management tasks.

-Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all financial activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements, and that documentation is accurate and complete.

Requirements

- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional accounting qualification is a plus.

- Minimum of5 years of relevant experience in financial management roles, preferably within a group structure.

- Proven experience in group-level financial management, including invoicing and reconciliation.

- Familiarity with crypto payments and digital asset accounting.

- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

- Experience in financial reporting and ERP/accounting software.

- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
