GSE Mechanic. Motorized Equipment (Puerto Princesa) – 1Aviation Groundhandling Services, Corp. Overview Explore the role of GSE Mechanic and join the growing team at 1Aviation. The GSE Mechanic is responsible for repairing and overhauling motorized vehicles, equipment, and other aircraft ground support facilities. What You’ll Do Ensure that 1Aviation’s Mission, Vision, and Values are achieved. Promote and ensure compliance with Quality, Safety, Security, and Customer Service standards based on regulatory requirements, government laws, acceptable industry standards, and company policies and procedures. Inspect mechanical systems and related equipment of motor vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and identify corrective actions. Repair, overhaul, or modify parts or components of motorized vehicles or ground servicing equipment to maintain serviceability. Test and adjust units and assemblies of mechanical systems and equipment according to Manufacturer’s specifications and company procedures. Execute assigned work efficiently and cost-effectively to maximize resource utilization. Document completed tasks on applicable company/regulatory records and complete related paperwork. Maintain a clean working environment and follow all safety rules and regulations. Carry out regular preventive maintenance on all aircraft ground support equipment. Secure and update ramp operations and AMA-GECN driving permit; ensure hand tools are complete. Assist GSE Supervisor in completing tasks efficiently and cost-effectively. Dispatch/receive Motorized GSE to Equipment Operators in good condition and assist in operation of GPU, ACU, and ASU as needed. Undertake assignments or related duties as directed by the GSE Supervisor. Conduct weekly checks of motorized GSE. Qualifications Must be at least a 2nd year of college. Experience in Automotive field. TESDA Certified NC II is an advantage. Must possess a Valid Driver’s License (1 2 3; 4 & 8 is an advantage).
