JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • The mechanic will manage the maintenance and repair of a motor pool and fleet vehicles. This role involves overseeing vehicle readiness, conducting preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • The Mechanic must have experience in fleet operations and a strong understanding of vehicle systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in automotive repair preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in fleet or motor pool maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.
  • Familiarity with fleet management software and maintenance tracking systems.
  • Valid driver's license; CDL may be required depending on fleet type.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
