Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant Location: Manila, Philippines. About the role OLIVER is on the lookout for a Senior Accountant based in the Philippines to join an amazing team in an exciting, fast‑growing business. What you will be doing Month‑end closing: assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements during the monthly and yearly closing processes. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely book closures. Weekly forecast by Client & Full P&L: work closely with finance and client servicing team to prepare and consolidate weekly forecast by client, analysing the data and identifying key trends and variance. Weekly Cash Flow Analysis: support in preparation and analysis of weekly cash flow reports, monitoring inflows and outflows and highlighting any potential cash management concerns. Intercompany reconciliation: assist in the monthly intercompany reconciliation process, ensuring that all intercompany transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled between related entities. Balance sheet reconciliation: help in preparation and analysis of balance sheet reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and completeness of accounts and resolving any discrepancies. Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable: process and AR invoices, verifying accuracy, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures. Collection follow‑up: support in the follow‑up on outstanding customer balances, initiating collection procedures and maintaining communications to ensure timely payment. Payment preparation: prepare payments, including vendor/freelancers’ invoices, employee reimbursement, etc and ensure disbursement process in accordance with the company’s financial policies and procedures. Annual budgets and quarterly reforecasting: contribute to the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting by gathering data and providing analysis to reflect changes in business conditions. Liaison with external parties (e.g. auditors, bankers, government bodies, tax agents): facilitate tax filings, compliance and annual audit processes; coordinate with auditors, tax authorities, and external advisors when necessary; ensure compliance with government tax and other legal regulations (BIR, SEC, LGU, etc.). What you will need to be great in this role Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field; CPA is preferred. At least 3–4 years of financial experience, preferably in multinational corporations. Knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis and reporting; experience in BIR tax audits and filings. Proficiency in accounting software, preferably NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
