As a valuable member of our Risk and Control Group, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to support business operations and help them achieve their goals.

Your Role:

The Risk and Control Group (‘R&C’) is a global team responsible for fostering risk and control awareness across all divisions within the Citco Group of companies. The R&C strategy supports the organization in implementing a robust risk management and control framework worldwide. The team produces System and Organization (‘SOC’) reports for various lines of business and conducts compliance reviews analyzing operational effectiveness of controls.

The R&C includes a specialized Quality Control and Assurance (“R&C QC”) team that reviews the operating effectiveness of controls within functions such as Loan Administration, Hedge Funds, Private Assets, and Middle Office Solutions.

Team members are based in Amsterdam, Cork, Dublin, Jersey City, Manila, and Toronto.

• Report to the Risk and Control Manager (SVP) and collaborate with Risk and Control and Group Risk Management teams to identify areas where AI and automation can improve efficiency (50% of role). Support project leads in executing operational effectiveness testing, ensuring timely work paper completion and risk issue identification (50%).
• Develop, implement, and maintain AI and automation solutions to streamline SOC, quality controls, and assurance testing processes, including designing automated workflows and AI-powered quality checks.
• Analyze manual testing processes to identify automation opportunities and develop solutions for evidence collection, analysis, and documentation.
• Create automated reporting solutions for management, SOC, and quality assurance documentation.
• Build and validate automated testing scripts, monitor results, and ensure quality control of automated processes.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate AI tools and ensure compliance with SOC and audit standards.
• Maintain documentation for all AI and automation solutions.
• Provide training and support to team members on new automated tools and related disciplines.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies for process improvements and refine automation based on feedback.
• Support control reviews and liaise with project stakeholders across offices and time zones.
• Lead or support other projects and mentor junior team members as needed.
• Promote risk and control awareness organization-wide through interactions with business partners.
• Keep updated on emerging AI and automation technologies, controls testing, risk management, and auditing developments.

About You:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, or related field;
• Experience with AI technologies and automation tools preferred;
• Experience with robotic process automation (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism) preferred;
• Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools preferred;
• Understanding of programming logic and relational databases preferred;
• Experience in financial services or audit environment highly preferred;
• Knowledge of risk management, audit, and controls testing principles desirable;
• Excellent communication and project management skills;
• Background in process improvement methodologies;
• Proficiency in written and spoken English;
• Key qualities include strong communication, analytical skills, attention to detail, accountability, reliability, proactivity, adaptability, creativity, and a drive for continuous improvement.
