Risk Management & Compliance Senior Analyst

This position reports to the RM&C Manager and is based in Manila, Philippines. You will provide regional oversight and work with team members on deliverables for the respective area of responsibility. You will report to the regional Finance Compliance Manager on finance compliance activities within the function or region. Expected to provide compliance oversight within the regional hubs for the Finance Compliance organization. You will be responsible for risk management while driving standardization across the region or function. You should have deep knowledge in finance processes and controls, strong analytical and risk management skills, and guide compliance professionals in working with various business partners including senior leaders across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Adopts a strategic mindset for execution of daily tasks.
• Supports and prepares foundational analytics for evidence-based decision making.
• Demonstrates strong learning agility.
• Understands policies and drives accountability on business compliance.
• Views issues with a risk-based lens and develops appropriate mitigation plans.
• Liaises and provides compliance status related to issues, policies, procedures, and recommendations as necessary to supervisor and stakeholders.
• Fulfills compliance requirements, including SOX Key Dates and Corporate requirements, per Compliance SLA with the sectors. Completes standard Compliance document requirements – RCM/DCMs, Hand-offs, SOPs, and submission of required SOX templates (system inventory templates, SOX questionnaires).
• Identifies compliance risks in processes and controls and helps ensure such risks are addressed.
• Oversees operational compliance to internal policies and procedures to assure current processes are under control and compliant with applicable laws, regulations, and policy.
• Coordinates activities within established departmental policies.
• Manages multiple projects when required, prioritizing and adapting to business needs and understanding of business requirements.

Talent Management

• Demonstrates influencing skills and credibility.
• Assists Associate Compliance Manager and/or Compliance Manager in implementing compliance initiatives (due diligence reviews, Risk Based Assessment monitoring, Audit, Corrective Action Planning & Remediation, Advisory, Training, and other compliance support).
• Coordinates compliance training as required.
• Enables/supports implementation of policies and standards across sites within the region.

Be a Trusted Business Partner

• Exhibits an unbiased and integrated approach towards business partnering.
• Understands external environment and acts in an advisory/consultant capacity.
• Partners with Global Project Team to provide compliance support across country deployments to enhance controls through standardization of tools & reports.
• Partners with other Compliance team members on responses to corporate audits and collaborates with stakeholders to identify and implement corrective actions.
• Ensures effective and timely completion of all corrective actions.

Required Qualifications

• Generally, 4-6 years of work experience.
• At least 1-2 years of management/supervisory experience.
• Specialized knowledge in underlying business processes and accounting background.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills (ability to measure).
• Accounting background for Payroll and Finance for Risk Management, SOX, and User Access.
• Independent, objective thinking and strong professional ethics.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across all relevant stakeholders.
• Be open to new ideas, rapid change, and embracing new technologies.

Desired Qualifications

• Management/supervisory experience.
• Familiarity with SOX documentation procedures and SOX certification is desirable.
• Planning, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPP, CPA, CMA, CIA) strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of SAP or other ERPs is an advantage.
• Digital/intelligent automation capabilities.
