Job Description

The GBS Operations Director is responsible for the following:

  • Lead and manage the multiple service lines of operations within the global business services framework.
  • Ensure compliance with international financial standards and corporate policies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with overall business objectives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators to evaluate the success of operational initiatives.
  • Serve as a key decision-maker in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to the accounting and finance team to foster professional growth.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks to safeguard the company's interests.

The Successful Applicant

A successful GBS Operations Director should have:

  • A strong background in GBS, GCC, particularly as a leader in operations
  • Proven expertise in managing large-scale operations and leading diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of global financial compliance standards and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with stakeholders effectively.
  • A degree in Business, Management, or any related discipline.
