What we are looking for

The purpose of a Loan Processor Specialist is to assist Australian mortgage brokers with administrative tasks to prepare, process and track loan applications. The role requires you to communicate with relevant stakeholders, prepare documentation, keep systems and CRMs updated, and follow a loan application from pre-submission to post approval within required timeframes.

Schedule: Monday - Friday (6:00 AM - 3:00 PM)

Responsibilities
  • Document management (collecting, renaming, organising, following up sensitive supporting documentation).
  • NCCP Compliance checks and transcribing notes from summaries to detailed responses.
  • Calculate income for PAYG applicants.
  • Complete lender servicing calculators.
  • Data entry of client information to MyCRM.
  • Data entry of a loan application into MyCRM and Apply Online (AOL), Simpology, or direct to the lender.
  • Living expense analysis.
  • Generation of application paperwork, including those for First Home Buyers and Discharge forms.
  • Ordering valuations based on broker information, understanding valuation types, and communicating with valuation firms to discuss or escalate.
  • Pricing requests across multiple lenders for new applications and settled loans.
  • Generating comprehensive credit reports and interpreting them.
  • Assist in mitigating MIRs, Conditional Approvals and Settlement Conditions.
  • Cross-checking approval and settlement documents to ensure details match client requirements per submission.
  • Ensuring settlement occurs on time and meets crucial deadlines.
  • Initial exposure to complex loan structures and loan types (multiple applicants, multiple securities, SMSF, company and trust lending, etc.).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • More than 2 years of experience in the Australian mortgage broking industry specialising in AU loan processing.
  • Experience using aggregators/CRM systems such as MyCRM, Infynity, Mercury Nexus, Flex, or Salestrekker.
  • Proficient in IT software, Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office including Gmail or Outlook.
  • Experience using Project/Task Management Tools (e.g., Monday.com, Trello, Airtable).
