PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
As an RGP SOX Testing Consultant, you will be responsible for reviewing testing documentation submitted, performing control testing, documenting testing in accordance with outlined standards and meeting project deadlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
- Assist in developing and maintaining an effective control environment that complies with the testing and reporting requirements of SOX 404
- Contribute to the development and management of the SOX project lifecycle, including scoping, documentation, tests of design and effectiveness, remediation, and reporting
- Coordinate and track internal and external control testing progress, identification of control gaps, and remediation efforts
- Support improvements relating to internal controls within accounting and finance, and/or corporate systems, and consult on internal controls
- Proactively identify and monitor process and system changes, and other areas of change that have a direct impact on the company's financial statements and related disclosures
- Evaluate control deficiencies in accordance with a framework designed in collaboration with the external auditors
- Maintain the SOX repository of documentation, testing evidence, and internal policies, and provide summary status reporting and presentation to business units and management.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years of experience in SOX Compliance Testing
- Knowledge in SOX requirements and methodologies or Public Accounting background
- Bachelor’s Degree of Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- CPA, CIA or CISA preferred
OTHER DETAILS
- Shift – Must be available in mid shift
- Hybrid Work Setup - 2-3x a week onsite work
- Location is in Paranaque
- The client prefers candidates who can start ASAP or 15 days upon selection
- Employment Arrangement: Project Based (6 months initially – Subject for extension and renewal)
