Overview

The Head of Finance & Treasury is a senior leadership role with dual responsibility for (1) managing all treasury operations—including cash flow, liquidity, and banking relationships—and (2) ensuring all cash-related transactions and funding activities are accurately and timely reflected in the financial books. This role is critical in safeguarding the company’s financial health and integrity, ensuring both optimal cash management and sound financial reporting.

Treasury Operations
  • Manage cash flow, bank accounts, and treasury controls.
  • Ensure liquidity for daily operations and long-term needs.
  • Maintain relationships with banks and financial partners.
  • Improve treasury systems, payments, and use of surplus funds.
  • Record all treasury transactions accurately.
  • Work with accounting to reconcile cash movements.
  • Lead treasury-related month-end and year-end closing.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and audits.
Strategic Leadership
  • Develop strategies for funding, capital structure, and working capital.
  • Provide recommendations to support growth and financial stability.
Compliance & Controls
  • Maintain strong internal controls and accurate reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, covenants, and policies.
  • Continuously improve processes and reporting.
  • Build a collaborative and accountable team culture.
  • Encourage knowledge sharing across treasury and finance.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field from a reputable university.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Willing to be based in Cebu City.
  • Preferably with experience in a Top 5 Auditing/Accounting Firm.
  • Background in farm or livestock operations is an advantage.
  • Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and cash flow management skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and analytical.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of accounting software is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Progressive, ambitious, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
  • Strong teamwork and positive work attitude.
