Direct message the job poster from KMC Solutions Overview The Senior ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced solutions on the ServiceNow platform to support business and IT service management objectives. This role involves working closely with product owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable, efficient, and automated workflows using ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, and ITBM modules. The successful candidate will have deep technical expertise in ServiceNow development—including scripting, Flow Designer, custom application development, and system integrations—while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and best practices. They will also provide technical leadership, documentation, and mentoring to junior developers to drive platform maturity and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Experience with integration of ServiceNow, development of ServiceNow solutions and understanding of the architecture and business solution development on the ServiceNow platform. Actively participate in agile daily scrums and ceremonies, updating stories daily in ServiceNow documenting development progress, and collaborating across platform teams. Support and participate in customer requirement workshops, working with product owner/stakeholders to configure requested items and tasks using Flow Designer to manage processes and meet business requirements. Focus on driving maturity of the ITSM, ITOM, and ITBM modules & implementing advanced features. Create and maintain system design and operations documentation. Strong understanding of all technical aspects of the ServiceNow implementation including ServiceNow architecture, Application UI, Process and solution integration, Workflow design/ configuration, Reporting, and Integration components (SSO, LDAP, etc.). Experience with ServiceNow custom application/portal and Information Architecture - ServiceNow Common Services Data structures are a big plus. Create and implement client scripts, business rules, UI Policies, ACLs, and otherwise configure or modify ServiceNow applications to meet business requirements. Ability to provide input to the project’s technical documentation like Architecture Document, Implementation/Deployment plan, Security profile document, etc. Qualifications Proficiency in at least one other language (PHP, C, Java, CSS, HTML/HTML5) JAVA, HTML, CSS to be key critical Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer and Workflow Editor Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture CSA, CADITIL is a plus Experience levels 2+ years of ServiceNow development experience (Intermediate) 4+ years of ServiceNow development experience with multiple implementations (Senior); Years of Experience: 2 years (Intermediate); 4+ years (Senior) Certifications ITIL Foundations Certification (required) ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) Certification and/or ServiceNow Application Developer (CAD) Certification; ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Certifications are a plus Employment details Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Information Technology Industries: IT Services and IT Consulting Note: The original post contained references to various other job postings and locations.
