About the role : As the Head of Cybersecurity and Compliance, you will lead CIBI’s IT security and compliance division — shaping and driving strategies that protect our data, systems, and people. This leadership role oversees daily cybersecurity operations, long‑term planning, and continuous improvement of our security posture. You’ll serve as both a strategist and a mentor — guiding a high‑performing team, strengthening our Information Security Management System (ISMS) by protecting data, managing access, attending necessary training, and promptly reporting security incidents. Duties and Responsibilities : Strategy and Planning : Partner with the CTO in the assessment, design, and implementation of strategic and long‑term technological strategies to support achievement of CIBI’s strategic priorities. Collaborate with the Head of IT Infrastructure on business continuity for information technology resources. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and audits to strengthen IT security architecture and compliance frameworks. IT Security and Compliance : Lead the IT Security and Compliance team, overseeing policies and governance, including compliance such as ISO 27001, HIPAA, SOC 2 and other IT Security related requirements. Design and implement cybersecurity/IT security solutions ensuring protection of critical systems, data, and network infrastructure. Facilitate joint brainstorming and team cooperation — work closely with other IT and business units to align security initiatives with organizational priorities. Ensure compliance with the information security management system (ISMS) by protecting data, managing access, attending necessary training, and promptly reporting security incidents. Perform other related duties as may be assigned by management from time to time, consistent with the purpose and level of responsibility of the position. Job Specifications : Educational Background Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field. Certifications in Information Security, Agile, Cloud, or Project Management are an advantage. Experience Minimum 5 years leading an IT Security and Compliance team. Proven and successful experience in IT Security and Compliance and launch of IT and Technology initiatives and products.
