Overview

We’re hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to scale and secure our cloud infrastructure

You’ll own infrastructure design, automation, and CI/CD pipelines while enabling fast, reliable deployments. Cloud-native, remote, high-impact.

Job Summary

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will focus on building and maintaining the cloud infrastructure that powers our products and services. You’ll design scalable environments on AWS/Azure, implement automation with Infrastructure as Code, and ensure seamless deployments through CI/CD.

You’ll partner with developers and SREs to deliver containerized applications in production, reduce manual work through automation, and improve system performance and resilience. This role is ideal for a DevOps engineer who thrives on solving infrastructure challenges, scaling systems, and driving continuous improvement in a cloud-native environment.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or SRE roles.

Technical Skills

  • Strong expertise in AWS or Azure (infrastructure design, scaling, cost optimization).
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK, Terraform, or similar).
  • Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proven ability to design and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).
  • Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or TypeScript) for automation.
  • Familiarity with monitoring/logging (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, SigNoz) is a plus.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communicator with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Problem-solver with a passion for automation and efficiency.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience with incident management and on-call rotations.

Above and Beyond

  • Startup experience, comfortable with ambiguity and building from scratch.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems or advanced networking.
  • Certifications in cloud technologies (AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Solutions Expert).
  • Contributions to open-source DevOps/infra projects.
