POSITION: Technical Education and Skills Development Specialist II (RE-OPEN)

OFFICE: District TESDA Center - NCR (Pasay Makati District Training and Assessment Center)

SALARY: SG-16 Php 43,560.00 PERA: Php 2,000.00

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Process the enrollment and registration of learners and beneficiaries for scholarship and other training programs in accordance with policies and audit requirements.
  2. Conduct and deliver competency-based and blended learning programs, including community-based training.
  3. Prepare and update competency-based curricula, session plans, CBLMs, assessment tools, and training plans according to operational procedures.
  4. Prepare and monitor budget/fund utilization and obligations.
  5. Respond to inquiries.
  6. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
  7. Perform other related functions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree relevant to the job.
  • Experience: At least one year of relevant experience.
  • Training: Four hours of relevant training.
  • Eligibility: Career Service (Professional) or Second-Level Eligibility.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Tourism, or related courses.
  • Holder of a National Certificate in Food Processing, Carpentry, Technical Drafting, or tourism-related qualifications.
  • Recognition as a Community-Based Trainer in construction, processed food, or tourism sectors.
  • Trainer's Methodology Level I National Certificate (preferably).
  • Physically and mentally fit with good moral character.
  • Good communication skills (oral and written).
  • Proficient in MS Office, internet, and online applications.
  • Adheres to professional work ethics.
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of T2MIS and BSRS applications.
  • Good interpersonal skills and team-oriented attitude.

  • Performance ratings for 2024 or last rating period with at least a 'Very Satisfactory' rating.
  • For government employees: a copy of previous appointment.
  • References with contact details.
  • Certified true copies of transcript of records/diploma and eligibility.
