Your Role
As a Accounts Payable Specialist, you will:
Job Description
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for day-to-day operations of Accounts Payable, ensuring not only the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations, but also maintaining strong relationships across vendors as well as internal stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Maintain multiple accounting email accounts
- Uploading invoices to Stampli (AP platform)
- Verify/process invoices for approval
- Match invoices with purchase orders
- Identify/process bank auto debits
- Enter invoices into Full Circle (our ERP system)
- Prepare weekly AP Aging to identify invoices due for payment and process approved payments via ACH & wire transfers
- Reconcile/resolve vendor statement discrepancies
- Vendor account creation and management
- Ensure completeness of vendor/invoice documentation
- Assist with month-end close tasks
- Maintain accurate records for audit & tax purposes
- Ensure compliance with company policies & procedures

Prior Experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP best practices
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation, etc)
