As a Wellness and Resiliency Manager , you will act as a Chief Counselor to ensure and drive Health Wellness for team members, helping prevent stress from interfering with professional success and personal health. You will create and implement plans to help individuals play to their strengths and focus on achievable goals while championing wellness initiatives to keep TaskUs employees happy.
Your role focuses on managing the immediate work environment and promoting protective factors to address demands and stressors that might affect performance. You will lead initiatives that deliver coping skills, communication skills, and career guidance to help teammates maintain focus when facing challenges. You are responsible for fostering a positive sense of self and building confidence to counter feelings of helplessness when confronted with adversity.
Key Responsibilities- Under the guidance of the Senior Manager or Director, oversee end-to-end Wellness and Resiliency function for new or smaller teams (in FTE), managing a team of life coaches and vendor clinicians
- Ensure 24/7 coverage of sites and scheduling sessions with teammates
- Lead the team by fulfilling leadership tasks such as coach observations, progress monitoring, data collection and reporting
- Initiate and lead specific programs, activities and projects assigned by the Senior Manager or Director of Wellness and Resiliency
- Design and facilitate advanced wellness sessions, outreach programs, and monthly programming
- Collaborate with other professionals, conduct research, and use critical thinking to address client needs
- Proactively check in with Leaders and Teammates and invite them to individual coaching or group sessions via in person, phone, email, or video
- Provide individual and group coaching sessions using prescribed approaches and following the ICF Core Competencies and ICF Code of Ethics
- Partner in creating and implementing individual action plans
- Evaluate data and check in with clients to track progress toward goals
- Schedule and conduct regular coaching sessions; handle more complex coaching issues as assigned
- Create and organize confidential client files including intake and session documentation
- Collaborate with other professionals to address client needs
- Assess for emergency/crisis needs and ensure safety planning with clients and appropriate endorsements to mental health professionals
- Report accurate data using designed processes and prescribed tools
- Attend required development programs and training sessions
- Graduate of a 4-year college course in Psychology, Social Work, or similar fields
- Experience in resiliency planning techniques that are science-backed and evidence-based
- Ability to identify, assess, and report risks in a timely manner
- Ability to define current operational resilience and tolerance to emerging risks
- Ability to prioritize risks and provide recommendations on response plans
- Capability to design and implement programs that build daily habits with lasting positive effects
- Expertise in building a strong support system with actionable guidelines to help employees stay productive
- Strong collaboration, adaptability, approachability, and influencing skills
- Active pursuit of new knowledge through workshops, resiliency assessments, and professional publications
- Previous experience in Career Counseling and Coaching within a large organization
- Strong communication (written and verbal), leadership, and partnership skills
- Problem-solving, creative thinking, and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work at pace, multi-task, and meet deadlines
