Team Brief:

This role resides within a newly formed department; proposing and suggesting fresh new perspectives contributing to building a scalable operations is encouraged

Seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and hands-on Portfolio / PMO who has worked on

developing and implementing new frameworks to support portfolios, programs, and projects across multiple countries, ensuring delivery of IT modernization plans. Requires proactive and curious nature, ability to be self-sufficient within a small team whilst supporting cross-functional teams in complex organization.

Requires working knowledge of both waterfall and agile delivery methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Prioritization and Alignment: Facilitate the assessment and prioritization of IT projects based on organization’s strategies, business impact, and resource availability.
  • Strategic Alignment: Ensure all projects contribute to the organization’s overall strategy and objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track project progress and performance metrics, ensuring alignment with defined strategic goals.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on portfolio performance to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices in portfolio management.

Do you have experience in Project Management?

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in both waterfall and agile project management methodologies, with proven experience in managing projects governance at the group level.
  • Experience in SDLC, PMO, project prioritization, project governance, portfolio management, resource allocation, stakeholder management, performance metrics, strategic planning, project management tools, portfolio management software, communication skills, problem solving, conflict resolution, compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management tools and software, such as Jira.
