Job Description

  • Demonstrate technology leadership for key project implementations and provide guidance as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) technology.
  • Plan, design, and deploy Software-Defined Networks (SDN), particularly Cisco ACI.
  • Plan and execute software upgrades, preventive maintenance for network devices, and migration activities from legacy infrastructure to modernized ACI networks, ensuring minimal operational disruption.
  • Stay up to date with the latest software releases, security patches, and updates relevant to network infrastructure.
  • Identify and resolve moderate to high-complexity hardware and software issues using strong analytical skills and technical knowledge.
  • Solve complex problems requiring in-depth analysis, leveraging deep understanding of data center environments and coordinating with third-party vendors.
  • Create high- and low-level design documents, test plans, use cases, and scripts; participate in implementations, trials, and proof-of-concept activities.
  • Be available on-call to address critical network issues and incidents outside of regular working hours.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with the Technical Assistance Center (TAC), third-party vendors, sales and presales teams, and engineering teams.
  • Own and manage customer technical issues from initial escalation to resolution.
  • Engage with presales teams to identify client goals and requirements.
  • To provide assessments for existing customer systems and recommendations for improvement.

The Successful Applicant

  • Over 5 years of experience in deploying and maintaining Cisco network devices, with advanced knowledge and hands-on expertise in Cisco ACI-a mandatory requirement.
  • In-depth understanding of Cisco software technologies, including IOS, IOS-XE, IOS-XR, and NX-OS.
  • Proficient in advanced troubleshooting within Data Center and Enterprise Technology environments.
  • Hands-on experience in deploying Cisco Campus, Enterprise, and Data Center devices such as Nexus Switches, ASR, and Catalyst Switches.
  • Holds a CCNP Data Center or DevNet (DevApps) certification; equivalent certifications are considered an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of VMware, RedHat, and other data center technologies is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide and support junior team members.
