You will play a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our IT network infrastructure. This includes the installation, integration, and expansion of network systems, supporting business-critical operations across multiple sites and data centers. Key Responsibilities Installation & Integration: Deploy, configure, and integrate network components (LAN, WAN, WLAN) to meet organizational requirements. Network Expansion: Plan and implement network growth initiatives to support evolving business needs. Remote Administration: Provide remote management and troubleshooting for network infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime. Proactive Monitoring: Utilize monitoring tools to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact operations. System Maintenance: Perform regular updates, patches, and preventive maintenance on network hardware and software. Data Center Support: Maintain and optimize network connectivity within SYNLAB’s data centers. 24/7 Issue Resolution: Analyze and resolve network-related issues on a 24/7 basis to ensure uninterrupted service. Ticket Handling: Ensure support for IT Operations by working on tickets (requests and incidents). Documentation: Create and maintain accurate network diagrams, configuration records, and operational procedures. Qualifications & Skills Minimum 8 years of experience in IT network administration within a global environment. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, WLAN technologies and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN). Hands‑on experience with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and monitoring tools. Familiarity with data center networking and security best practices. Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are a must.
