Job Description/ Responsibilities

-Manage the day-to-day activities of the Tax Compliance team and be responsible for the timeliness, accuracy and completeness of tax reporting covering both corporate and employee tax.

- Ensure compliance to local and global standards not limited to meeting both internal and external requirements while fostering key relationships with delivery stakeholders both locally and globally.

-Assist in the preparation and review of tax returns, local income tax provision and deferred tax computation.

-Monitor changes in the Philippines tax laws that may impact Company's tax liability. Participate in identifying, communicating and implementing possible changes to existing practice to ensure compliance to the new regulations.

-Provide technical expertise and advice to the Tax Compliance Team on complex tax issues.

-Assist in coordinating responses to inquiries of government tax agencies, internal and external auditors and stakeholders regarding tax filings, compliance, claims, regulations and other related matters.

-Owner of all Tax Compliance processes and ensures adherence to prescribed approvals and minimum requirements to comply with Tax and PEZA regulations.

-Identify, and if needed run and co-sponsor, Finance-related process improvements and innovation initiatives.

-Approve and post tax related journal entries.

-Additional responsibility when applicable or assigned

Requirements/ Qualifications

-At least 5-8 years of solid corporate tax experience; as confirmed by the Hiring Manager, preferably from either shared services industry or with auditing firms but NOT required

-At least 3 years supervisory experience

-CPA is required

-Open to any industry

-With experience working in an extensive ERP environment
