Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to lead our financial operations team at CENTRAL COUNTRY ESTATE, INC. This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership and organizational skills to manage the company's financial activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Financial Activities: Oversee the company's financial activities to ensure all transactions are accounted for in accordance with company policies.
  2. Supervise Accounting Staff: Manage and supervise accounting staff in Manila and Pampanga office.
  3. Internal Audit and Analysis: Act as internal auditor and financial analyst to ensure the company's assets are properly safeguarded.
  4. Policy and Procedure Development: Set up accounting policies, procedures, and controls to maintain accurate and transparent financial records.
  5. Financial Monitoring: Monitor the accounting and financial controls to prevent any discrepancies or irregularities.
  6. Cost-Cutting Measures: Develop and implement cost-cutting measures to improve the company's financial performance.
  7. Document Reviews: Review and approve various financial documents, including check/vouchers, journal vouchers, and cash advances liquidation statements.
  8. Accounts Receivable and Payable: Verify accuracy of accounts receivables and accounts payable to prevent any discrepancies.
  9. Timely Reporting: Ensure timely reporting and filing of accurate reports and other requirements of BIR, SSS, PHILHEALTH, HDMF, and other financial institutions.
  10. Financial Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and appropriate financial records in accordance with GAAP, GAAS, and PRFS.
  11. Financial Statements: Prepare financial statements for management, BIR, SEC, banks through external auditors.
  12. Cost Allocation: Properly account for costs associated with site/project development and housing units.
  13. Department Coordination: Discuss and agree with the Marketing Department on proper accounting/recording of costs/expected sales.
  14. Management Advisory: Advise management on planning, action, and control with reference to the approved annual budget.
  15. Financial Reporting: Provide timely and accurate financial reports and analysis to advise management on important financial matters.
  16. Reporting to Board: Present monthly reports to the Board of Directors and Stockholders.
