Overview

An OSP Engineer is responsible for the implementation, monitoring, maintenance, and emergency response of fiber optic outside plant networks (aerial, underground, and buried). This role ensures that all outside plant projects comply with technical standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.

Responsibilities
  • Implement, monitor, maintain, and provide emergency response for fiber optic outside plant networks (aerial, underground, and buried).
  • Ensure all OSP projects comply with technical standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.
Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Electronics Engineering
  • At least 1 year of experience in OSP fiber optic implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with aerial and underground fiber plant design and restoration
  • Solid understanding of network architecture, network protocols, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Can drive with LTO license
  • Willing to work 24/7 on-call duty

  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Should be teachable, must be with competitive spirit
  • Must be quick to adapt to pressure-related workload specifically with OSP workloads
