Automation Engineer

SYSGEN RPO Taguig, National Capital Region, Philippines

We’re looking for a skilled Automation Engineer to strengthen the quality and reliability of our web applications. In this role, you’ll work hand-in-hand with engineering, product, and QA teams to build scalable test automation solutions that support fast, reliable releases.

If you’re passionate about driving quality through automation and have hands-on experience with modern frameworks, we’d love to hear from you, especially if you’ve worked with Playwright and TypeScript .

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automated test scripts using frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
  • Partner with developers and product managers to define test coverage strategies for new and existing features.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth, high-quality releases.
  • Investigate test results, document findings, and track issues to resolution.
  • Continuously improve automation frameworks, testing processes, and best practices.
  • Maintain clear documentation of test cases, procedures, and results.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in automation testing.
  • Strong proficiency with at least one modern automation framework (Selenium, Cypress, WebDriverIO, Robot Framework, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines .
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Clear and effective communication skills .
  • Bonus points for experience with Playwright and TypeScript .
