Overview Solutions Designer/Manager responsible for the development and delivery of new products and services, as well as improvements to existing products and services. Responsibilities Responsible for the development and delivery of new products and services as well as improvements to existing products and services. Manage the product design and development team, create processes and mechanisms to enable the team to support. Be a key member of cross-functional product development and delivery teams including engineers, technologists, marketing, finance and quality assurance representatives. Liaise with different members of the development team to drive projects forward. Be customer-centered while having the relevant technology know-how to bridge to achieve product-market fit. Work with Product Owners to understand customer needs through research, data and analytics, A/B testing, and direct customer conversations. Facilitate product specifications and user stories; define the customer experience via mock-ups and wireframes. Prioritize features and present trade-offs and risks with Product Owners. Collaborate with Technology Leads/Managers and engineers to agree on working architecture and present trade-offs. Collaborate with Test Leads/Managers to determine edge cases and proper customer-side handling; manage projects to on-time and within-budget delivery. Develop schedules for each development phase and monitor progress; set up reviews to ensure objectives are met from concept to launch. Communicate effectively with many stakeholders in a product development program and coordinate with senior management for strategic objectives and budget approvals. Skills, Qualifications, and Competencies Years of Experience: at least 5 years of relevant experience. Strong technical background and the ability to read source code. Previous experience in product and software development, design or digital marketing. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and deliver results. Experience working within multidisciplinary teams to meet strategic objectives. Strong background in process and business operations.
