Overview

A Quality Assurance Analyst works to ensure accuracy, consistency with style guidelines, and adherence to quality standards. The individual will identify and correct errors in grammar, spelling, and formatting, and is responsible for analyzing and verifying technical and factual information.

The Quality Assurance Analyst will focus on Medical Record Reviews/Summaries, Reports, and Memos for use in legal settings.

Responsibilities
  • Fact-checking : Research and analyze the accuracy of the information presented.
  • Technical accuracy : Demonstrate analytical thinking and competent judgment by assessing technical correctness in subject-specific content, including concepts, terminology, and data.
  • Content review : Examine written content for grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, punctuation issues, and inconsistencies in style, tone, and brand.
  • Style guide expertise : Demonstrate specialized acumen in preferred style and brand guidelines by ensuring all content aligns with established criteria.
  • Formatting consistency : Review layout and formatting to ensure consistency across documents.
  • Issue tracking : Document, report, and resolve any quality issues identified during the review process.

Experience
  • Minimum of three years of business experience in an environment with self-governance to meet deadlines and quality expectations, preferably within a professional services firm or legal entity
  • Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Office and proficiency in Adobe
  • Experience formatting Microsoft Word using style templates
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and understanding of medical records
  • Experience working with HIPAA protocols and compliance
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and editing tools
Education

Bachelor\'s degree in business, English, or Communications required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Can start ASAP

Additionally, the candidate\'s work hours will align with USA Central Time work hours as follows:

  • Training Period 2-3 weeks (8am-5pm Central Time; M-F)
  • Staggered Shift after training (3pm-12pm midnight Central Time; M-F)

Note: The training period should be conducted at the Peak site in Makati City.

After the training period, the QA Analyst can work from their home (WFH).

At the discretion of the IMS QA Leader, after a reasonable period, if the workflow is adequate, the QA Analyst may continue to WFH, but on a shift aligned with Daytime working hours in the Philippines.

The standard Peak workstation hardware, with an 2nd screen, should be sufficient for the QA Analyst; no laptop is required.
