What are the Roles and Responsibilities?

The Quality Assurance Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This role involves conducting tests, analyzing data, and implementing quality control measures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and continuous improvement of our processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Quality Control Testing:

2. Perform routine quality control tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.

3. Utilize advanced analytical tools and methodologies to analyze test results and identify trends or deviations.
4. Document and report test results accurately and promptly, maintaining comprehensive records of quality control activities.

5. Compliance and Standards Adherence:

6. Ensure strict adherence to quality protocols and regulatory standards in all testing and inspection activities.

7. Conduct regular quality audits and inspections, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures to maintain product quality.
8. Stay updated with industry regulations, codes, and standards applicable to quality assurance, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and legal requirements.

9. Continuous Improvement Initiatives:

10. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and improve operational efficiency.

11. Participate in the root cause analysis and problem-solving exercises to address complex quality-related challenges and improve processes.
12. Assist in the development and implementation of best practices for quality assurance and control.

13. Data Analysis and Reporting:

14. Analyze quality control data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.

15. Assist in the preparation of detailed reports on quality metrics, findings, and recommendations for management.
16. Utilize statistical methods and software tools to interpret data and support decision-making processes.

17. Collaboration and Communication:

18. Work closely with production, maintenance, and other departments to coordinate quality control activities and ensure alignment with production goals.

19. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, management, and external stakeholders to address quality issues and support project initiatives.
20. Guide production operators and tenders on quality control procedures and best practices to maintain product quality.

What are the Qualifications?

1. Education and Experience:

2. Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Sugar Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.

3. Must have licensure either as a Chemist or Chemical Technician.
4. Proven experience as a quality assurance analyst within industrial or manufacturing environments, preferably in the food or beverage industry.

5. Technical Proficiency:

6. Comprehensive understanding of quality control systems, including testing, inspection, and safety protocols.

7. Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and analytical tools to conduct quality control tests and analyze data.

8. Regulatory Compliance:

9. Thorough knowledge of quality assurance regulations, codes, and standards, ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and legal requirements.

10. Experience in facilitating inspections, audits, and regulatory certifications for quality control systems.

11. Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities:

12. Advanced analytical skills to interpret quality control data, identify trends, and implement optimization strategies.

13. Proficiency in root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies to address complex quality-related challenges.

14. Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

15. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams, management, and external stakeholders.

16. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively within a quality assurance team and support organizational goals.

17. Continuous Improvement Mindset:

18. Demonstrated commitment to driving continuous improvement initiatives in quality assurance and operational efficiency.

19. Awareness of emerging technologies, industry best practices, and innovations relevant to quality control and assurance.
