Full‑time PositionMonday to Friday – 8:30 am to 6:00 pmBGC, Taguig Overview The Engineering Manager leads the maintenance and engineering team to ensure the optimal operation, safety, and compliance of building systems and equipment. This role oversees preventive maintenance, strategic planning, budgeting, vendor coordination, and capital expenditure projects, while ensuring alignment with company standards and regulatory requirements. The Engineering Manager also plays a cross‑functional role, supporting multiple properties managed by the company. Responsibilities Leads and oversees the daily operations of the maintenance and engineering team, ensuring tasks are complete efficiently and effectively. Schedules and manages regular inspections of building systems and equipment, identifying deficiencies and preparing corrective measures. Develops and implements preventive maintenance schedules to avoid disruptions with operations. Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment manuals, and safety documentation. Identifies and implements safety programs to ensure compliance with engineering audits and regulatory permit requirements. Assists in planning and execution of future building developments, improvements, and innovations. Acts as project lead for CAPEX initiatives, overseeing execution from planning to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Reviews and evaluates plans submitted by tenants prior to execution of fit‑out and monitors fit‑out works to ensure compliance with approved plans. Quickly responds to emergency situations such as equipment breakdown and leaks. Reviews and approves plans for both minor and major works in leasable spaces and common areas across multiple managed properties. Qualifications Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Minimum of five (5) years of working experience in mechanical and electrical operations and maintenance of high‑rise buildings. Pollution Control Officer (PCO) is an advantage, but not required. Working knowledge of governmental processes such as permitting, zoning, and licensing. Preferably residing near or willing to work in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.
