Senior & Lead Power Systems Engineers (Manila-based) We require Senior & Lead level Power Systems Engineers to join our Manila design team, contributing and coordinating design on mineral processing related Electrical Projects and Studies. Responsibilities range from detail design and technical reports to client studies on remote mining plant power systems design and upgrade, with a strong focus on renewable energy. Responsibilities Undertake power system analysis for clients Design power systems for the mining and power generation industries Preparation and evaluation of tenders Use power systems modelling packages such as DigSilent (PowerFactory) and ETAP Qualifications and Skills Analysis and design of HV power systems including design of powerlines and substations Specialized network analysis and performance standard studies experience Solid electrical engineering experience including knowledge of electrical, instrumentation and controls applications Experience working on both greenfields and brownfields projects Degree level electrical engineering qualifications, with specialized power engineering qualifications well regarded Ability to self-manage while working in varied team/project delivery scenarios Ability and willingness to travel with project requirements Other Details Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Contract Job function: Engineering and Information Technology Industries: Mining Location and Collaboration The roles are Manila-based, with a growing power systems team. Occasional input may be needed on studies and reports for our Toronto and African offices, and coordination with our engineering office in Perth.
