Principal Product Architect, 2 Hour Learning (Remote) Join 2 Hour Learning as a Principal Product Architect and lead the transformation of our AI‑driven learning ecosystem. Base Pay Range $200.00/hr – $200.00/hr Job Description As a technical product owner at the executive level, you will shape the architecture, technical strategy, and AI integration of our learning system. Your task is to make strategic technical decisions that ensure our products are streamlined, scalable, and laser‑focused on enhancing student outcomes. Key Responsibilities Exhibit profound expertise in education products to influence strategic choices Create technical specifications that prioritize simplicity, efficiency, and sustainability through key technical decisions Implement generative AI technologies to automate and enhance engineering processes, aligning with our vision to minimize manual labor What You Won’t Be Doing Engaging in pure people management; your role relies on both business and technical expertise Spending time in meetings, committees, or handling administrative duties; we have automated these tasks to let you focus on delivering business value through direct involvement Developing high‑level strategies without actionable implementation plans; your insights must be grounded in product‑level understanding Basic Requirements Profound experience and enthusiasm for data‑driven learning science Over 7 years of experience making pivotal architecture and design decisions on software projects, including the use of architectural design patterns or significant open‑source technologies At least 2 years of experience in making design decisions involving cloud computing services, mainly AWS More than 4 years in roles with full technical and delivery responsibility for a revenue‑generating product Experience in developing product features that leverage Generative AI Proficiency in using Generative AI to optimize work processes About 2 Hour Learning Education is broken, but 2 Hour Learning is proving it doesn’t have to be. They’re tearing down the outdated one‑size‑fits‑all model and replacing it with AI‑driven personalized learning that helps kids master academics in just two hours a day. Working with us This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
