Strategic Insights Manager-Special Projects – Maxicare Healthcare Corporation

The primary duties of this role are to oversee the development and delivery of actionable insights and analytics, including synthesizing market research trends to support data-driven decision-making and strategic special projects initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • BI Strategy Development: Develops and implements business intelligence strategies aligned with organizational goals and priorities. Leads key initiatives and analyses for the Executive Leadership team to significantly grow the business.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Performs deep-dive analyses to identify potential opportunities, forecast growth or declines, and mitigate risks related to physician/provider/customer outcomes.
  • Advanced Analytics: Drives adoption of predictive modeling, machine learning, and AI to uncover trends and opportunities.
  • Customer Behavior and Segmentation: Improves current segmentations and develops innovative solutions to target key groups based on utilization behavior.
  • Data Visualization and Storytelling: Designs intuitive visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
  • Business Partner Engagement: Collaborates with business units to understand analytical needs and deliver value-driving solutions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establishes KPIs and metrics to monitor the effectiveness of BI solutions.
  • Performance Optimization: Identifies opportunities for process optimization and efficiency in BI operations.
  • Team Leadership: Provides leadership fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement as a center of excellence.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Microsoft Power BI).
  • Ability to build dashboards, generate reports, and document processes and insights.
  • Strong grasp of industry trends.
  • Agile, innovative mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Collaboration and teamwork.
  • Project management experience.
  • Management or supervisory experience.
Professional Qualifications
  • Degrees in data science, business analytics, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in data management and analytics.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of data security and compliance.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and Agile methodologies is a plus.
