Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Azure Architect (DevOps) located in the Philippines, supporting a UK-based client. The Azure Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Azure cloud solutions, with a focus on infrastructure, DevOps practices, and system integration. Daily tasks will include developing cloud architecture, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, and ensuring secure, scalable cloud operations. The role requires close collaboration with development, operations, and security teams to deliver innovative solutions that drive performance and efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an Azure Architect or similar senior cloud role with a DevOps focus
  • Strong expertise in Azure services, cloud architecture, and governance
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform, or Pulumi)
  • Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and AKS
  • Solid understanding of networking, security, identity management, and compliance in Azure
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
  • Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Expert, DevOps Engineer Expert) are highly desirable
  • Experience in the travel, cruise, or shipping industry is a plus
