Overview

European Finance Analyst role at Global Payments Inc. This position requires strong analytical and reporting skills and will work directly with the Finance Director and be a key member of the European finance team.

Responsibilities
  • Review accuracy of business cases submitted by initiative owners in the Wave project platform.
  • Communicate with all initiative owners around actuals tracking (financials) and provide heavy assistance with KPI / Milestones tracking.
  • Support initiative owners in forecasting, budgeting and risk assessment, and recommend plans to address gaps.
  • Create reporting around variance analysis on a monthly or potentially weekly basis.
  • Contribute to monthly accounting close and reporting processes.
  • Support finance’s goal to continuously improve the quality, efficiency and value of financial information produced, via financial tools (e.g., Wave), operational efficiencies, and automation.
  • Assist in all integration financial aspects and ad hoc activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • 3+ years post-qualification experience in financial analysis, accounting, or similar.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in financial analysis, accounting, management consulting or similar.
Preferred Requirements
  • Ability to work in the Irish/UK time zone.
  • Business partnering experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
